Prize-winner of the 2011 digital green growth prize, this now completed project was based on a trial aimed at informing 30 households about their energy consumption through Smart grid technologies.

The aim of this project was to identify the relevant levers to encourage and make the change in individuals’ behavior in relation to energy consumption in the PACA region sustainable. The analysis of the results showed that the households had no problems adhering to the project. The loyalty development program, explanations and advice provided made the participants aware of their energy consumption in a lasting way.
